Hi! Thank you very much for visiting us. My name is Matías Mut and I am the founder of El Club del Frío.
Today we find ourselves facing a global pandemic of chronic stress, depression, anxiety, obesity, sedentary lifestyles and bad habits in general. After having suffered some of these problems myself, I decided to contribute to the solution, spreading and promoting the techniques that helped me and that are helping more and more people around the world.
I am the first Thermalist Instructor in Spain, certified by the prestigious Søberg Institute of Denmark, founded by Dr. Susanna Søberg, world leader in the scientific support of contrast therapies.
If you are interested in knowing a little more about us and why we started this project, you will find it here.
"As a thermalist instructor, my goal is to improve your quality of life and general well-being. I will teach you how to use these techniques so that you can make the most of their effects and benefits"

"I had addiction problems and I started out with a lot of skepticism. Cold therapy has helped me find myself and overcome my addictions. Now the cold is part of my new life."
Marina García
"The first workshop was a turning point for me. I have suffered from anxiety my entire life. The cold allows me to stay in a space between what is happening around me and how I react to it. And the longer I stay in that space, "I learn more about myself, my emotions, my goals and my frustrations."
Jaana Jäntti
“As a Finn, I have lived with the culture of sauna and winter swimming all my life. I was surprised by the knowledge that Matías had about our culture and about the use of these therapies to benefit our health.”

I am a very cold person, this is not for me...Precisely if you are a cold person, these therapies are perfect for you! By learning to exercise your thermoregulation, you will ensure that the cold does not affect you as much, you will tolerate it much better. And the same thing will happen with the heat, from now on you will handle the hot summers much better. Also consider the mental reward of overcoming "I can't" or "this isn't for me." Once you try it, you will strengthen your mind by showing yourself that it wasn't a big deal and that you could do it. Empowering yourself, controlling and overcoming that initial stress will make you grow and show yourself that you are capable of this and many more things that until now you thought you couldn't do.
